A LICENCE

Authorized to drive motorcycles and tricycles. The minimum age to obtain it will be twenty years old, but only twenty –one year olds are allowed to drive motor tricycles with a maximum power exceeding 15 kW.

A2 LICENCE

Authorized to drive motorcycles with a maximum power of 35 kW and a power / weight ratio not exceeding 0.2 kW / kg and not derived from a vehicle of more than double its power . The minimum age to obtain it shall be eighteen years old.

AM LICENCE

Authorized to drive mopeds of two or three wheels and light quadricycles, although it may be limited to driving three-wheel mopeds and light quadricycles.The minimum age to obtain it will be fifteen years old. However only eighteen year olds are allowed to drive the vehicles when carrying passengers.

B LICENCE

Authorized to drive cars up to 3,500 kg to transport no more than eight passenger besides the driver, they can tow trailers of maximum 750 kg, provided that the maximum mass of the combination does not exceed 4,250 kg; and motor tricycles and quadricycles. The minimum age to obtain it shall be eighteen years old.

B + E LICENCE

Authorized to conduct combination of vehicles consisting of a tractor vehicle authorizing the driving license class B and a trailer or semi-trailer whose maximum authorized mass does not exceed 3500 kg, without prejudice to the standards approval type set for these vehicles. The minimum age to obtain it shall be eighteen years old.

C LICENCE

Authorized to drive cars other than those authorized by the license classes D1 or D, whose maximum authorized mass exceeds 3500 kg which are designed and built to transport no more than eight passengers plus the driver. They may bring a trailer whose maximum authorized mass does not exceed 750 kg. The minimum age is twenty years old.

C + E LICENCE

Authorized to conduct combination of vehicles consisting of a tractor authorizing the driving license class C and its trailer or semi-trailer has a maximum authorized mass of over 750 kg, without prejudice to the rules for vehicle type approval set for these vehicles.The minimum age to obtain it is twenty years old.

C1 LICENCE

Authorized to drive motor vehicles with a maximum authorized mass of 3500 kg and not exceeding 7500 kg, designed and built to transport no more than eight passengers plus the driver. These cars may be combined with a trailer with a maximum authorized mass not exceeding 750 kg. The minimum age to obtain it is eighteen years old.

C1 + E LICENCE

Authorized to conduct compounds by a tractor vehicle authorizing the C1 and trailer not exceeding 750 kg, provided that the combination does not exceed 12,000 kg; and combinations of a tractor that authorizes the permit B and a trailer of not more than 3,500 kg vehicle, provided they do not exceed 12,000 kg. The minimum age to obtain it is eighteen years old.

D LICENCE

Authorized to drive motor vehicles designed and built to transport more than eight passengers besides the driver. These cars may be combined with a trailer with a maximum authorized mass not exceeding 750 kg. The minimum age to obtain it is twenty-four years old.

D + E PERMIT

Authorized to drive sets of vehicles consisting of a tractor that authorizes driving license class D and its trailer has a maximum authorized mass of 750 kg, without prejudice to the vehicle type approval standards established for these vehicles. The minimum age to obtain it is twenty-four years old.

D1 PERMISSION

Authorized to drive cars designed and built to transport no more than sixteen passengers besides the driver and with a maximum length not exceeding eight meters. These cars may be combined with a trailer with a maximum authorized mass not exceeding 750 kg. The minimum age to obtain it is twenty years old.

D1 + E LICENCE

Authorized to conduct combination of vehicles consisting of a tractor vehicle which authorizes driving the class D1 license and a trailer with a maximum authorized mass of over 750 kg, without prejudice to the provisions of type approval rules established for these vehicles. The minimum age to obtain it is twenty years old.
